Growing broccoli does not have to end in the Spring… get ready to start sowing your broccoli soon for the Fall harvest season!
Broccoli can be sowed in mid to late Summer because of the desirable high temperatures during the broccoli’s maturing development. The warm soil is preferable for the broccoli in order to grow faster. Ideally, sow seeds outdoors 85 to 100 days before the first fall frost. So start your sowing now to continue to have bountiful broccoli throughout the Fall season!
