There are just so many varieties of tomatoes and seed saving can seem like a daunting task. However, tomatoes can be a great introduction to seed saving for three reasons:
- You can harvest them for seed the same time you harvest them for eating.
- They don’t easily cross-pollinate.
- You only need to save the seeds from the fruit of a few different plants of each variety.
